Joe Texan

Known as Joe Texan, the first Original Super Fan for the Texans. His original trademark hat is on display in Canton.  A founding member of the Blue Crew Tailgate, Joe is a tailgate legend. He loved cooking his signature tenderloin – he called it “horse legs” when they played the Colts and “Tiger meat” when they played the Bengals.  Banowsky passed away suddenly on November 30, 2018. He and his father never missed a Texans home game and to honor his memory, the Blue Crew Tailgate named their annual chili cook-off, held to raise funds for The Ronald McDonald House, after him.
